Integrity, kindness, and honesty make up my core principles.

These principles are significant

to my culture, my whanau, and me. Expressing thanks to others, accepting responsibility for
my acts, whether good or bad and always respecting myself and those around me.
Extending kindness to others by lending a helpful hand, flashing a simple smile, or even
saying something motivating. Being kind to others and acting towards them in a manner
that I would like to be treated. Being sincere by telling the truth and living up to it. These
principles support my efforts to be a good person, act morally, and respect other people.
These principles are important to my whanau's and culture's way of life. For instance, I
learned honesty is the best policy from my family when I was growing up. To avoid
punishment when I messed up as a kid, I would lie to my parents, but I eventually realised
that lying only led to more difficulty. The values of Integrity, kindness, and honesty establish
a foundation for my family and give the family an outlook on life.
