Oral Research Presentation

Guidelines and Mechanics


June 02, 2022, 8:00 am onwards

1. The oral presentation will be at the school AVR.


2. Only senior high school students are allowed to participate.
3. It will be divided in to two categories: Grade 11 and Grade 12
4. Each of them will be graded separately.
5. The presenters should be in corporate/business attire.
6. Each group must send their IMRAD paper and ppt ahead to their
research teachers for checking of contents.
7. There would be draw lots prior to the presentation to determine
the sequence of presentation.
8. The slides will be as follows:
 1st slide- research title and researchers name and section
 2nd slide- abstract
 3rd slide- introduction
 Succeeding slides- SOP, methods, results and discussions
 Last slides- conclusion and recommendation
 Note: Make sure that the presentation is 8-10 minutes (DO
NOT EXCEED), avoid very lengthy words instead use bullets
and only key statements
9. The panelists can ask question if needed but it will not affect the
grades of the presentation.
