** PRE CHECK
1 Drawing with latest revision referred.
2 Cleaning of entire area before starting work.
3 Check for shade variation in tiles before fixing.
4 Tiles properly soaked before laying.
** DURING WORK
5 Check for room sizes, diagonals and heights to ensure proper
arrangements of full and cut tiles.
6 Check for uniformity and direction of tiles.
7 In kitchen, check for slope of flooring towards nahni trap.

8 Check for sand and cement mix 1:6 for sand bedding.
9 Check for cement slurry of good consistency used in tile fixing.

10 Check for drop in flooring w.r.t adjoining flooring (i.e. 8mm or one
tile)
** POST CHECK
11 All tiles fixed with proper cement paste adhered on its back to avoid
hollowness.
12 Tiles joint checked for straight line ( Horizontal Both ways)

13 Proper joint maintained between tiles.

14 Check for uneven tiles after completion.

15 Cleaning done after completing tiling works.

16 Arrangement made for adequate curing.

** Skirting work
17 Skirting tiles to be fixed projecting only 6mm from the wall plaster.
18 Ensure that the projection is maintained in level finished properly
** Polishing for marble work
19 Polishing to be done in kitchen granite, toilet door frame, window
frame and lift cladding.
