I did an internship at Aravali International School, Sector 43 Faridabad

under Ms Aastha Gandhi who is a psychology teacher and a special
educator. She 1s a role model for every psychology enthusiast who wants
to deal with children with special needs and care, The way she deals with
children noteworthy and respectable the school is dedicated to providing
a good learning experience to 1ts studen1s

• A 06 year old , male , studying revealed the complaints of f,
eeling frustrated or irritated all the time when it comes to express
his thoughts on the paper , claiming that he is unable to hold the
pencil and faces a difficulty in recalling things and numbers

• A 08 year old , female, revealed the complaints of not being able
to solve mathematical problems while most of the kids of her age
hav1e generally uniform accompl1shments across all su,bjects ,
she is she splendid in a English and different other points , yet
battles in math . Diagnoses-

• A 10 old boy presented sudden onset of speech disturbance and
confusion . He was riding a bicycle during the games period
when he suddenly felt unwell and subsequently could not find
words to express himself

• A older 9 yrs male , had issues of reading statements , spell

erratically read and also write slowly. He needed some extra help
to re-read in order to understand . These instances further lead
bullying and unhealthy/ disturbed relationships at home

• A 11 year, old male revealed the complaints of , the letters in his note books
start to move around and didn’t make sense to him. Words that were visually
similar lead to visual confusion( in simple words cot became cat) and he faced
difficulty to focus Diagnoses- Dyslexia

• Observations of cases made me more EMPATHETIC and made me
understand psychological disorders better1
• Listening to the pat1ents made me a good listener and implanted more patience
