Each team will choose an international company, and fulfill these tasks:

1. Describe the company's HRM system, esp. its recruitment, selection, and training and
development management (word file)

I/ Introduce:

Samsung is a South Korean company that is one of the world’s largest producers of
electronic devices. Samsung specializes in producing a wide variety of consumer and
industry electronics, including appliances, and digital media devices. It has become
one of the most recognizable names in technology and produces about a fifth of South
Korea’s total exports.

Working place in Vietnam:


+ Samsung Vina Electronics (SAVINA) - Tp. HCM: The unit in charge of
Samsung's Sales and Marketing activities in Vietnam.
+ Samsung Electronics Vietnam (SEV) - Bac Ninh: This is a factory
manufacturing components and assembling mobile devices
+ Samsung Electronics Vietnam - Thai Nguyen (SEVT): Mobile device
assembly and component manufacturing factory Samsung
+ Electronics HCMC CE Complex (SEHC): Samsung's consumer electronics
manufacturing complex
+ Samsung Vietnam Mobile R&D Center (SVMC) - Hanoi: Samsung
Vietnam Mobile Research and Development Center is headquartered at the PVI
building

II/ HRM system of Samsung:

III/ The process of recruitment and selection:

1. Global Recruitment: Samsung, as a multinational company, conducts


recruitment on a global scale. They hire employees for a wide range of
positions, from engineers and designers to marketing and sales professionals.
Samsung typically advertises job openings on its official website and through
various job portals.
2. Talent Acquisition: Samsung places a significant emphasis on acquiring top
talent. They often recruit from top universities and institutes worldwide,
seeking candidates with strong academic backgrounds and relevant skills.
3. Competency-Based Hiring: Samsung focuses on hiring individuals with the
necessary skills, competencies, and experience to match specific job
requirements. They conduct every year to select new candidates. The Samsung
selection process consists of 4 rounds:
+ Global Samsung Aptitude Test (GSAT) consists of 50 aptitude
questions which have to be completed in 1 hour or 60 minutes. Along
with the aptitude questions, there will be some Reasoning questions, to
test your logical power.
+ Technical Test: This test will test a candidate's overall programming
skill, go on for about 3 hours and is a crucial part of the Samsung
Recruitment Process:
+ Technical Interview: Here questions based on projects, static variable,
static function, semaphore, and conceptual questions will be asked
+ HR Interview: Here Samsung tests the communication skill, personality
traits and general knowledge of the candidate
4. Diversity and Inclusion: Samsung is committed to promoting diversity and

IV/ The process of training and development management:
