Case: A 45-year-old female came to your clinic due to fever. She was apparently well until 3 days ago when she developed fever with temperature ranging from 37.8 to 39 C C, this was associated with body
malaise , joint pains and sore throat. Patient self medicated with Biogesic 1 tab every 4 hours which afforded temporary relief. 1 days prior to consultation patient had dry cough with itchiness of the throat
as well. Patient took 1 tab of Xyzal . Fever however persisted hence the patient decided to seek consultation . She has hypertension diagnosed in 2020 on Adalat Gitts 1 tab once a day with good compliance
