FOR BOYS:
1. White Long-Sleeved:

The centerpiece of this traditional outfit is a white, long-sleeved. The shirt is typically crafted
from lightweight and breathable fabric, ensuring comfort throughout various activities and
festivities.

2. Black Pants:

Boys wear plain black trousers or pants that are both comfortable and versatile. These pants
allow for ease of movement, making them suitable for dancing, participating in cultural events,
or everyday wear.

3. Dark Blue Plain Handkerchief (Pañuelo) on the Neck:

A solid dark blue handkerchief (pañuelo) is elegantly tied around the neck.

4. Havana Hat (Brown only)

FOR GIRLS:

1. White Dress:

The top part of the outfit is a clean and simple white dress.

2. Colorful Skirt:
The focus of the costume is the colorful skirt. These skirts come in various bright colors and
patterns, often reflecting the specific South American region or cultural influences.

Note: WHITE TOPS ONLY FOR BOYS AND GIRLS. BOYS DON’T FORGET THE
PAÑUELO (DARK BLUE ONLY) AND HAVANA HAT (BROWN ONLY).

1. Argentina:
 Asado: Grilled meats, especially beef, seasoned with chimichurri sauce.
 Milanesa: Breaded and fried meat cutlets, similar to schnitzel.
 Empanadas: Savory pastries filled with meat, cheese, or vegetables.
2. Brazil:
 Feijoada: A hearty black bean stew with various cuts of pork and sausage.
 Moqueca: A seafood stew made with coconut milk, palm oil, and spices.
 Pão de Queijo: Chewy cheese bread rolls.
3. Peru:
 Ceviche: Fresh seafood or fish marinated in lime juice with onions, cilantro,

 Lomo Saltado: A stir-fry dish with marinated beef, onions, tomatoes, and
french fries.
