Cheap Editing

The Art Appreciation reminds me of how actually we need to appreciate ‘art’. Through the
history and to evolving branch of arts. I appreciate also the subject, wherein I can relate to our proctor
because she told me that I don’t need to give up on being artist and I think she also went through to that
situation too. So, I listen to her. I didn’t give up on what I’ve started, hence I improve on where I am
lacking and I think it is on my confidence on doing art.

The best thing that I can show my art today is through editing. I used several
software/applications where can I try some graphic design. I came first in designing until I discover the
‘Typography’ and ‘lettering’. I started in traditional, like designing a bulletin board thinking on how I am
going to organize it (layout designing in technology) through sketching on a scratch. Since, I am already
in “Art in the Information Age: Technology and Conceptual Art” this is how I showcase my art and
thinking this is my time to make more arts throughout to my generation. The topic gives me a motivation
to continue on what I’m doing; I didn’t also do this to have make money but to share to everyone that
my talent is my precious gift that also came from the creator too. The proposal that I am going to
showcase is called cheap editing art, because I know that people still appreciate any kind of art so I
decided to trade my art on a cheap price. I layout and design for any project that conveys a message
through eye-catching visuals, like magazine layouts, website design, and advertisements. It is a clever of
me but even though that we are (Filipinos) is in the third world country, doesn’t mean that we can’t
keep in touch to the evolving technology in the world. That’s why as a designer, I give my art for a cheap
price, because I know that how much it cost people still know on how to appreciate my artwork.

The subject is very substantial to me, because my path in choosing my course is my big fear.
Losing or better life, I choose the better life because it was my parents want it to me and it suffers me
because I thought that there will be no art related here. But there is a subject called ‘Art Appreciation’, it
copes my suffering in coding because I can’t really enjoy on what I’m doing. Later on, and writing this
proposal, I learned from this subject that I can do more and I plan to use my major to do arts, and it will
be a historical in future.
