most important events in the life
of a Kazakh. Parents would

villages. The wedding ceremony
was accompanied by many
traditions, which took place over
several days.
 CONVENTIONALLY, A KAZAKH
WEDDING WAS DIVIDED INTO

MATCHMAKING, ACQUAINTANCE
OF THE NEWLYWEDS, A FESTIVE
FEAST IN THE BRIDE’S FATHER’S
HOUSE, MOVING TO THE
HUSBAND’S HOUSE AND “NEKE
KIU” - A WEDDING ACCORDING TO
MUSLIM CUSTOM.
 It is customary for Kazakhs to
have two weddings. At the first,
the bride's relatives accompany
her to another family. All
expenses are borne by the girl's
parents. And the second wedding
- on the part of the groom - takes
place a few days later. Weddings
are colossal and large. Kazakhs
love lavish and large-scale
weddings
There will be a lot of people at
the wedding, about 500. At the
wedding there will be singers,
dancers and the tamada who
will lead this wedding

THE AMERICAN WEDDING CEREMONY IS DIVIDED INTO

TWO STAGES: ENGAGEMENT AND THE WEDDING
ITSELF. FROM THE MOMENT OF ENGAGEMENT TO THE
WEDDING USUALLY TAKES FROM SIX MONTHS TO A
YEAR. IN ORDER TO FREELY CHANGE THEIR SINGLE
STATUS TO MARRIED, AMERICANS HAVE TO NOT ONLY
PAY A WEDDING FEE IN THE STATE WHERE THE
MARRIAGE TAKES PLACE, BUT ALSO GO THROUGH A
NUMBER OF NOT ALWAYS PLEASANT PROCEDURES,
WITHOUT WHICH THE STATE COURT SIMPLY REFUSES
TO REGISTER THE MARRIAGE.
A man asks a woman to marry him and
gives her an engagement ring.
American stores sell special sets
consisting of three rings: two for
women - engagement and wedding, and
one for men - wedding. These are
usually gold rings with diamonds, but
may include other stones.

After the engagement and

engagement, preparations for the
wedding begin. Usually this happens
six months to a year before the
wedding.
 Newlyweds spend as much as they can on
their wedding. In most cases, the wedding is
paid for by the bride's parents.

SEPARATELY. ONLY
FRIENDS AND
RELATIVES ARE
PRESENT AT THE
PARTY.
