processors with test method implementation and advanced food safety applications
• Received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
and is a certified FSPCA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI)

Dr. Gabriela Lopez Velasco, 3M Food Safety


• Global Technical Services Specialist, responsible for the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ and
3M™ Allergen Testing platforms
• Gabriela’s expertise includes food safety, food microbiology, allergen control and
development, and application of methods for food testing
• Received a Ph.D. in food science and technology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute
and State University and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of
California, Davis
