ABOUT GOA AND OUR HOSPITALITY

opportunity to learn about Goa beyond beaches and create
wonderful memories with fellow young delegates from across
the different cultural contours of India to cherish for life time.
Needless to stress that we have proven record of extending

for the Meet and Paper Submission
The intent to participate in the Young Geographers
Academic and Cultural Meet, 2024 along with the
tentative names of the participants and accompanying

teacher should reach to us on or before 21
September, 2023. The list of Cultural items the team
intends to participate and the soft copy of the
abstract/s in about 500 words should reach to us along
with the Registration Form and Registration Fee @ Rs.

2000/- per delegate on or before 30 November, 2023.
The full Research Paper in MS Word format in about
3000-5000 words in English and the travelling details

should reach us on or before 15 December, 2023. The
selected, reviewed and recommended Full Research
Paper/s will be published in an ISBN book/ISSN
Proceedings Journal. The best research paper will be
rewarded a cash prize of Rs. 3000/- while the best
performing team in the cultural meet will be rewarded
a cash prize of Rs. 10000/-. It may kindly be noted that
a delegate can present a maximum of two research
papers, one as an author and other as a co-author.
Plagiarism test will be carried out at the organizers
level to finally publish the paper.

geography. The event aims to foster unity among participants by
showcasing various cultural traditions, practices and
perspectives from different cultural and physical contours of

GENERAL RULES FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENTS
It is an Inter University/Institutional Student’s Academic
Conference on Population & Development: Challenges and
Opportunities and Cultural Talent Meet. Thereby a minimum
number of three to four students/research scholars and one
accompanying teacher are invited as delegates from an
institution or department from Universities and Colleges for
the Meet. The protocols and decisions of the organizers will
be binding in all matters of the event. It may kindly be noted
that there will be no spot registration for the event/s. The
total number of teams will be restricted to maximum 20
based on first come first serve basis. Therefore, early
registration is appreciated from intending teams along with
the abstract/s and registration fees. Please note that the
organizers may bear the basic travelling expenses of the
delegate/s and the accompanying teacher/s subjected to the
availability of the grant for the purpose. The final details
however will be communicated to the registered teams after

the final selection on or before 15 December 2023. The
teams have to make their own arrangements to reach the
venue of the Meet from the alighting points in Goa. The
teams are requested to book their journey tickets soon.
