REPORT ABSTRACT
INFORMATION
AENG This report focuses on possible high lift wing devices that can be incorporated to
223L-5-G1-4 the modified Beechcraft aircraft.
Laboratory Report
Introduction
Objective
For this report, using their selected airfoil which is
NACA 4415 the designers are assigned to modify the
wing of the aircraft, Beechcraft Bonanza. This report
contains all the values determining the stall velocity of
the NACA 4415 airfoil. The purpose is to acquire the
lowest possible stalling speed of the aircraft without
changing its gross weight.
Methodology
Required values:
Density (⍴) = 0.002377 slugs/ft3 = 1.225 kg/m3 Value
for CLmax was taken from the graph of CL vs Alpha.

Conclusion
The proponents used the stall speed formula in
order to find out what size is the most optimal in order
for the Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft to acquire the
lowest stall velocity (28.89 m/s). This stall velocity can
be achieved by the help of the high lift device attached
to the wing with an area of 16.81m.
