APPLICATION FOR LEARNING SUPPORT OFFICER (PLRCAP)

I am an intuitive, innovative, organized and detail oriented resource person who efficiently and
effortlessly synthesizes her strength and skills with work teams and partners. With a high sense of
duty, I have worked with governmental, multilateral and multicultural organizations such as Nigeria
For Women Project, National Cash Transfer Office, Red Cross as well as World Bank and USAID funded
projects; which has in positive turn enriched my experience in knowledge sharing, communication for
development, capacity building, advocacy, behavioural change, gender, community engagement,
social protection, programme implementation; whilst improved my skills in facilitation, time
management, inter-personal relations, reporting systems as well as Microsoft office applications.

My role as Master Trainer with the Nigeria For Women Project and National Cash Transfer Office,
focuses on capacity building with a pertinent responsibility of facilitating trainings on livelihood
sustainability, group formation and saving models. Working with a team of professionals in Taraba,
Abia and Kebbi States, I have created over 300 Women Affinity Groups and improved their ability in
accessing social and economic assets within their environment, as well as train them on business plan
development. In achieving good facilitation, problem solving, project and task management process,
I ensure timeline, task prioritizing and mode of conduct is constituted especially during facilitation
sessions and community engagement. I also welcome individual perspectives, experiences and
strength so as to ensure positive team spirit which is vital for effective implementation and finding
solutions. In my previous role as Communication/Organizational Development Volunteer with the Red
Cross, I facilitated community dialogues and field programs on gender balance, health, peaceful co-
existence and ethics in communication. Specifically supporting a team of professionals and partnering
with the Ministry of Health and relevant donors, I fostered the H1N1 Pandemic sensitization program
and capacity building workshop series for state health officers in Nigeria. I have worked extensively in
project implementation at national, state and community levels; across the six geo-political regions of
Nigeria.

I can easily translate my experience, knowledge and skills into any given task as I anticipate a
