    This document provides teacher and student directions for a letter recognition card game. The teacher should print multiple copies of cards with the letters B and D, as well as some special cards. Students take turns drawing a card and saying the letter. If correct, they keep the card. Special cards have additional effects - a Zap! card means returning all cards, a Skip! card skips the student's turn, and a Reverse! card ends the student's turn and passes to the previous player.

    Teacher Directions: Print several copies of the B and D
    page. I would probably print 5 or more copies of the B and
    D page depending on how many students will be playing. You
    can print 1 or 2 pages of the special cards. If you would like
    to not use colored ink, black and white pages can be printed
    on colored cardstock. Or you can print the B and D page
    and the colored special cards on white cardstock.

    Student Directions: Draw a card and read the letter on the


    card. If you read the letter correctly, keep the card. If you
    do not, put the card back at the bottom of the deck. A Zap!
    card means you give all your cards back. A Skip! card means
    your turn is skipped. A Reverse! card means you do not get
    to play and the it goes back to the person who drew before
    you.
