RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
DO’S
1. Do wear decent attire as you enter the virtual classroom during synchronous classes.
2. Do log-in and log-out in the attendance link given by the teacher every session. Your
registered log validates your attendance in the subject for a specific session.
3. Do listen to the discussion of the teacher and do participate to the various collaborative /
community learning activities between and among your fellow classmates via online.
4. Do inform the instructor / professor for whatever missed sessions, tests, and activities so that
he can give you special tests and tasks if ever possible. Online absenteeism of students is
subject for counselling.
5. Do keep and organize all returned activity sheets for Comprehensive e-Portfolio at the end of
the semester.
6. Do follow virtual classroom rules and regulations for a smooth conduct of online classes.
7. Do submit course requirements ahead or on set deadline. Late submission may have
deductions or may not even be accepted by the teacher.
8. Do act like professional teachers. You are would-be teachers and you are expected to act as
such.

DONT’S
1. Don’t make it a habit of not coming to our synchronous class. For three (3) absences in
series / 5 (five) cumulative absences, the teacher can drop the concerned students.
2. Don’t make any act that can disturb the entire class for a specific session. The disturbing act
and the problem student will be subject for investigation and counselling. This will be also
subject for appropriate disciplinary action/s.
3. Don’t be indifferent to everyone. Participate to whatever classroom activities for a meaningful
teaching-learning process.

CONTRACT / AGREEMENT
This is to certify that I, ________________________ (Prog / Yr / Sec: ___________) have
read and understood the above-stated rules and regulations for this class, this 1 st semester, AY 2022-
2023. Furthermore, I am willing to commit myself to be an active learner, in cadence with the
teacher as we journey together for the entire semester as reflected in the syllabus.
I hereby renew my commitment to this contract / agreement for an environment conducive for
learning, thus creating effective teaching-learning process in attainment of the learning contract. I
will abide to these rules of engagement for the entire semester and I will accept whatever
consequences the teacher will give to me for whatever violations of the above-stated rules.
