Product HCI-Acidic Degreaser (7-15%)

Usage It is a unique cleaner, which reduce the surface tension
2. of water and acid by adsorbing at the liquid-gas
interface. It also reduces the interfacial tension between
oil and water by adsorbing at the liquid-liquid interface.

4. Concentration of 7-15 % with (V/V of bath)

Bath Preparation Fill the tank with 90% of water and add Acidic
6. degreaser at concentration 7 to 15% v/v, mix it
thoroughly and fill the tank to the operating level.

8. Testing Procedure Take 10 ml. Of bath solution, add 90-ml. Of distilled

 water, draw 10 ml of diluted solution and titrate against
N/10 Sodium hydroxide by using 2to 3 drop of
phenolphthalein indicator. The end points colourless to
pink. Consumption of Sodium Hydroxide is indication
of pointage.

There are 2-3 factors which we would like to clarify that

each pointage of the bath generally indicate percentage
of acid in the bath. You are requested to fix ratio and
range of the pointage as per our own experience. Iron
contamination and atmospheric condition are also
limiting factor in Acidic Degreasing Bath.

Maintenance Once The Bath is Prepared it can be used for long time
9. only sludge from bottom has to be cleaned.

10. Precautions to be
 Use Rubber Hand Gloves, Goggles & Shield; Lab
taken during
handling and use of Coat & Apron; Vent Hood.
Degreaser
 Avoid the material getting in eyes, on skin, or
clothing.
 Wash thoroughly after handling.
 In case of accidental splashing of bath solution, in
eyes or on the skin, the affected parts should be
immediately washed with cold fresh water and
medical aid should be taken.
 General precaution of handling of chemicals should
be followed.

 Denature the paints and varnishes if contaminated.

 Store Indoors.
11. Precautions-
 Store away from strong Oxidizers.
