The Highest Form of Art Is Architecture

The Business of Architecture ft. Arch. Manuel Maximo L.D.C. Noche: Masterclass

The masterclass titled "The Business of Architecture” is based on the life and experiences of
Manuel Maximo Lopez Del Castillo-Noche, a professor, author, conservation architect, and researcher
who offers advice to aspiring architects. Architecture is an art form that requires a lot of passion and
interest. The professional discipline of designing and planning buildings, structures, and spaces while
also overseeing the related commercial elements is referred to as architecture. The planning, design,
and construction of buildings and other structures fall within the broad category of architectural business
operations. Architects are experts who are tasked with designing constructed environments that are
safe, aesthetically pleasing, and useful, and their work frequently touches on several facets of business.

I believe that architecture is the ultimate form of art; it is the highest form because it is not only
beautiful but also functional and helpful, and most importantly, because it is something that can protect
and save lives. Architects can preserve God's creation while simultaneously improve it. At the same
time, the architects show themselves to society through the structures they design and the identities we
help them develop.
A good quote from Ar. Noche “Architecture is a constructed form, an artistic form, a craft, a
science, and it all revolves around attempting to understand human behavior, both in terms of how
people move, act, and behave”. In my opinion building represents the pinnacle of art because it's not
just meant to be an expression of the beautiful; more significantly, it's meant to be a survival mechanism
for man, it is a tool that makes it possible for man to both exist and function in the world as we know it
today.
However, we need to be both realistic and romantic; romantic in the sense that we see
producing something unique, enduring, and emotionally stirring, but also pragmatic in the sense that,
in the end, it is what the client wants, and we were able to meet the customer's demands.

In conclusion, there must be a lot of enthusiasm in architecture, it necessitates a deep

comprehension of human behavior, it necessitates extensive interaction with outsiders. To ultimately
come up with a workable solution for their specific challenges, it takes a lot of talks with our clients. We
may have lost interest somewhere along the line, but there is still hope for this specific route if the spark
of architecture keeps one's hope and enthusiasm alive. Beautiful architecture leads to beautiful
buildings, which lead to extremely lovely living. My last impression is that studying architecture is a
romantic endeavor, like in every relationship, as arduous as the path may be, if the flame of passion is
alive, it becomes a successful route if it is present.
