Attending to machine breakdowns for clients and also do repairs, maintenance, wiring of single and
three phase machines (band saw, bawl cutter, vacuum, hydraulic sausage filler, biltong maker, meat
mincer, blender, etc) in the workshop.

Duties performed

 Diagnose malfunctioning machines and electrical systems using test equipment and hand
tools to locate the cause of the breakdown and correct the problem.
 Inspect electrical systems, equipment and machines in the workshop to identify hazards,
defects and the need for adjustment and repairs.
 Change single/three phase motor and wiring of the machine to single/three phase when
needed. Wire panels of in-house manufactured industrial biltong cabinets, band saws and
blenders.
 Change damaged bearings, cylinders, shafts, belts, pulleys, bolts, nuts, sprockets, pistons,
handles, bull gear, etc, of different machines.
