MEDIAINFOLIT ACTIVITY

Colgate's Philippine TV commercial, which encourages people to take good


care of their teeth, is the advertisement I choose. They serve as examples for kids on
how to brush teeth. Personally, I believe that this advertisement demonstrates media
manipulation because the kids in it are being utilized as tools to facilitate educational
experiences. This includes computer-edited resources that students can use to better
understand subjects and grasp ideas that they should brush their teeth three times a
day. Through their visual senses, Children can learn more about proper hygiene by
watching this, and the kid-friendly nature of the advertisement makes it easier for kids to
be persuaded to brush their teeth on a regular basis. This is a collaborative, online,
digital reproduction of the commercial, hence in my opinion it falls under the category of
digital or virtual manipulatives.
