SIR:

Pursuant to Section 5, Rule 110 of the Revised Rules of Criminal

Procedure, I hereby authorize, subject to your approval, ATTY. ALFREDO
L. MAYOL III, to prosecute Criminal Case No. 18430-18435 (6 counts)
entitled “PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES vs. DARCY H. JAMONER” for
FALSIFICATION OF A PRIVATE DOCUMENT UNDER ART. 172 IN REL.
TO ART. 171 (2) OF THE REVISED PENAL CODE considering that the
Public Prosecutor assigned to prosecute said case has a heavy work
schedule and the private complainants opted to engage the services of a
private counsel.

As Private Prosecutor, Atty. Alfredo L. Mayol III shall continue to prosecute

the case to the end of the trial even in the absence of the Public Prosecutor
unless this authority is sooner revoked or otherwise withdrawn.

However, as the Public Prosecutor retains supervision and control of the

prosecution of the case, only notices, resolutions and decisions served on
him will bind the Government, the agency, and/or the official represented.
