SY8330 Technical Specification for

Full automatic three phase energy meter test system (16positions)


The bench according with the standard of IEC 60736:1982, IEC 62053, and IEC 61036.

1. TEST FUNCTION (BOTH FOR MECHANICAL & ELECTRONIC ENERGY METERS):

3. FREQUENCY GENERATOR:
a) Range from 45Hz to 65Hz in steps of 0.01Hz
b) Provision for superimposition of harmonics for the range of 2nd to 21st harmonics

5. CURRENT AMPLIFIER:

6. PHASE POSITION ADJUSTER:


Allow adjustment of output power factor from -1.00 to 1.00 in all 4 quadrants in computer
controlled steps of 0.010

7. HARMONIC INJECTION UNIT:


a) Over the range 2nd to 21st harmonic to the test voltage and test current
b) Magnitude of each harmonic shall be adjustable from 0-40% up to 5th harmonics and 0-10%
for the harmonic 5th of fundamental wave

8. TECHNICAL DATA OF REFERENCE STANDARD METER:


a) Measuring modes: three phase three wire, three phase four wire, one phase two wire active /
reactive mode
b) Frequency range: basic frequency 40-70Hz
c) Voltage range: 40V - 480V phase to neutral

16. SCANNING HEAD:


a) Photoelectric sampler can realize three-dimensional adjustment. It can sample the turntable
signal of rotary electric meters and the stroboscopic signal of electronic electric meters. The
photoelectric head also has the function of auto-turning
b) Total 20 sensors. 1 photoelectric scanning head for each position
c) Suitable for reading the marking from the disc of Ferraris wheel meters without opening the
cover of the meter
d) Suitable for reading the pulse output of electronic meters
e) Must be able to measure LED pulse output of frequency up to 200Hz

17. METER MOUNTING RACK:


a) Suitable design, good figure. The frame for meters and the body frame are fully made by
special aluminum alloy. The table board is composed of fireproofing and heat-proof fiber
materials. The whole device is in soft color and good figure.
b) High level of autoimmunization. When checking the electric meters, you only need hang the
meters manual and adjust the photoelectric sample and setup the parameters correctly, then
all of the checking items (including warm-up, dormant test, startup test, standard wide range
measurement, basic error measurement) will be controlled by PC automatically and fulfill at
once time. The checking program can be designed according to the national standard or
user-defined.

18. QUICK CONNECTOR:

a) Made by aluminum alloy, pins can be adjusted in 2 ways ( right-left, front-back)
