Course Description:

Sine-Sosyedad /Film and Society is a three-unit Literature course that develops student’s critical thinking, comparative and analytical thinking skills
which purely deals with significant films in the Philippine context. With the thematic approach, it is expected that the course will cover significant topics for better
understanding of contemporary local, national and international society at the same sharpening the mental capability through using film as a social commentary.
It encourages the student develop a sense of appreciation and understanding of the contemporary era and logically present a better way of analysing the effects
of society toward life through the use of local films.
