A. NAME OF THE ENTERPRISE

The Putahe sa Nayon’s goal is to examine the viability of creating a


restaurant combining Filipino traditional cultures. Filipinos enjoy eating and
tend to spend more money on food. Many people cannot afford to eat at
restaurants for snacks, so they settle for cheaper meals that still satisfy their
tastes. The study analyzes this data using two methods. A strategic study was
conducted to establish whether the restaurant might be a credible contender
among the many local eateries in Candelaria, Quezon. Strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities, and threats were identified and weighted based on their
importance. The final step in determining if the Filipino style restaurant could
compete in Candelaria, Quezon was to perform a competitive analysis against
what were determined to be the top local competitors. Following the strategic
analysis, a financial analysis was carried out to establish the extent to which the
business was a wise investment. This included an analysis of initial expenses
and finance, as well as the production of an income statement, statement of cash
flows, and a balance sheet that were based off of a following years revenue
estimate. The dataset was collected permitted for the performance of a break-
even analysis, which ultimately determined whether or not the restaurant might
be a major success.

The Putahe sa Nayon logo consists of four colors: white, yellow, blue and
red. These colors represent the Philippine flag. We put the Philippine flag and
color, which symbolize the food we can offer, which is Filipino cuisine and
delicacies. The shades of the business name are blue and red, which show the
color of the flag. The business has greatly considered the colors they wanted to
put in the logo for this can also affect the way their consumers see the venture.
They have incorporated the psychological effects of colors with regards to
consumer behaviors in their logo. This is due to the fact that according to a
study entitled “Impact of Color Marketing”, researchers concluded that more
that 90% of first impressions of a product can be based solely in color alone
(Ciotti, 2019). The word "putahe" means pagkain or dish, and "nayon" means
barrio (local community). The "kubo" and "bilao" in the business name are the
examples that you can normally see when you are in the nayon and lastly, we
aim to give you a taste of different “putahe ng mga Filipino” and comfort while
eating “sa nayon”.

The Objectives of the business are the following:
