    Hello everyone , this month for English class we were tasked with chosing something and presenting

    it for a few minutes. I decided to bring a ballpoint pen. A pen is a tool used for writing or drawing on
    surfaces such as paper. Pens come in many versions such as ballpoint pens , Felt pens , dip pens and
    etc . This perticular ballpoint pen consists of a tank, filling and a ball mechanism for applying ink.
    When in contact with the paper, the ball begins to spin, which transfers the contents of the container
    to the surface of the paper.

    The reason i decided to bring a pen is because of Croatian inventor and engineer Eduard Slavoljub
    Penkalo who invented and patented the mechanical pencil during 1906. His newly invented
    Mechanical Pencils and fountain pens were exported to more than seventy countries around the
    world at that time, and the pen factory numbered more than 300 workers. In 1911, the number of
    workers increased to 800: it can be said that in the period from 1912 to 1926 it was one of the largest
    writing utensil factories in the world. It can be said that the invention of the pen by Eduardo Slavoljub
    Penkal is very important for humanity because the pen from the invention to the present day is used
    in a number of important situations. As the most important, I will single out numerous peace
    agreements that were signed precisely with the help of the invention of the Croatian inventor.
