The evolution of the
staircase
• Stairs have always existed in nature.

• Early humans have taken inspiration from


these naturally occurring stair-like
structures in their environment to build
steps to important locations.

• First Stairs were carved into difficult terrain.
• They were made out of stone and wood or
marble to verify the human needs and be
more safe.

• Stairs were born out of necessity, but often


design and form can work hand in hand.

Dimensions
• Tread dimension is between 15:17 cm, riser is
between 27:30 cm (inverse proportion).

• for one person is 60cm , for two person is


120cm, two person in different dimensions is
152cm three person is 180cm

• The number of stairs does not exceed 14 to
be more comfortable.

• The ascent angle is between 30:50 and the


change ratio does not exceed 6mm.

• The direction of ascent is counterclockwise.

• In today's architecture, wood is one of


the most demanding staircase materials.

• It gives the entire structure a mediaeval


and vintage appearance.

market.

• They are most commonly used in homes

necessary.

● It can be used to build any type of stairway.

● It is used in modern architecture

interior of the house a more premium
appearance.
