Practical information
• Time zone
– All of Norway uses Central European Time (CET), which is one hour ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC+1). Norwegians therefore use
the same time zone as that of mainland France.

• Electricity
– The standard in Norway is 220 Volt AC (50 Hz). Norway uses European electrical outlets.

• Potable water
– Tap water is always drinkable in Norway, and its taste is very pleasant. So no need to buy water bottles.

• Norwegian Currency
– The currency is the krone, abbreviated NOK.
– 1 € is equivalent to 11.55 NOK (Conversion on 18.09.2023)
– 1 NOK is equal to 0.087 € (conversion on 18.09.2023)

• Your expenses payment


– Bank cards are accepted almost everywhere and since COVID, some places no longer accept cash. However, it is always recommended to have
some cash on hand for incidental expenses. Currency is rarely accepted and it is better to carry kroner with you.
– Visa and Mastercard are the most commonly accepted bank cards, Amex or Diners cards being much less accepted. If in doubt, inquire before
making your purchases.

Day 1 Competition - 24th October
• Registration / Information (08:30 – 09:00)
• Technical Check (9:00 – 12:00)
- Teams will check network connectivity and resolve any technical issues till 1200.
• Lunch (12:00)
• Competition (12:30 – 19:00) including food served at 15:30.
• Dinner (20:00 – 23:00)

Day 2 Competition - 25th October
• Information (8:30 – 9:00)

Day 3 Competition - 26th October

• Competition (09:00 – 15:00)
- 2nd round of Jeopardy CTF.
• The scoreboard will freeze at 13:00.

• Free afternoon (15:00 – 17:30)
• Award Ceremony followed by the closing dinner (18:00 – 23:00)

Day 4 Networking - 27th October
• Social event (10:00 – 14:00)
- Park Hamar

• Free afternoon for those staying during the week end.

Meals: To be organised by Each National Team that day!


SIDE-EVENTS - 24th – 26th October
• Nasjonal Sikkerhetsmyndighet / NCSC Cyberforum (about 250 participants)
• NTNU Malware Forum (about 100 participants)
• Local schools (age 14-16) for inspiration and combined information security training
(about 150 pupils)
• Activity zone in Vikingskipet, presenting «hands on» tech and game bonanza

• Dedicated to the female players of the National Teams and invited countries.
