Early Career
In the Australian serial drama “The Heights,” Asher Yasbincek made her
television debut as Rose. Her thrilling journey in the world of acting began with
this experience. Rose, the character she played, rapidly won the hearts of the
audience, solidifying her place there.
For Asher, working with seasoned actors like Fiona Press, Roz Hammond and
Calen Tassone was a great learning opportunity. She received acclaim for her
role as the disobedient teen in “The Heights” which helped the show win the
Most Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series category at
the 2020 Equity Ensemble Awards.
On the Big Screen
In the 2020 comedy-drama “Rams,” directed by Jeremy Sims, she made her
feature film debut and sharing the screen with A-list actors Sam Neill and
Michael Caton. A big turning point in her career was her performance in the
movie as Sally. In 2020, “Rams” premiered at the prestigious Cinefest OZ film
festival in Australia, establishing Asher’s reputation as a successful actress.
Breakthrough Roles
In the Netflix comedy-drama series “Heartbreak High,” a remake of the 1994
classic, Asher Yasbincek played the character of Harper McLean in the year
2022. Her character, Harper, establishes her character’s rebel personality early
on in the series with describing the sexual activities of their classmates.
