4G Interview Question
Q1: - What is the Technology name of 4G.
LTE (Long Term Evolution) is the project name given to development of a high-performance air interface for
cellular mobile communication systems. It is the last step toward the 4th generation (4G) of radio technologies
designed to increase the capacity and speed of mobile telephone networks.
Q2: - on the basis of Modulation scheme LTE divided into Two modulation Schemes which are?
Ans: -
1. FDD (Frequency Division Duplex)
2. TDD (Time Division Duplex)
FDD (frequency division duplex), where the uplink and downlink channel are separated in frequency, and TDD
(time division duplex), where uplink and downlink share the same frequency channel but are separated by time.
Ans:- FDD
9310
9454
1450
1279
FDD 2100
451
500
Q4:-TDD
1. TDD 2300 / L2300 / LTE 2300 / 4G 2300
F1 38948
F2 39344
F3 39146
F4 38750
Types of CA
2CA/2CC
3CA/3CC
4CA/4CC
5CA/5CC ( under trail not intergraded on all sites)
2CC
In 2CC, two different frequencies/bands are used at time.
• One will be primary (Pcell) while second will be secondary (scell).
3
3CC
In 3CC, 3 different frequencies/bands are used at same time.
• One will be primary (pcell) while rest of two will be secondary serving (Scell).
4CC
In 4CC, 4 different frequencies/bands are used at same time.
• One will be primary (pcell) while rest of two will be secondary serving (Scell).
Ans:-
• PCI
4
• RSRP
• RSRQ
• SINR
Ans:- RSRP (Reference Signal Receive Power) is the average power of Resource Elements
(RE) that carry cell specific Reference Signals (RS) over the entire bandwidth.
Or in sample word we can say that it is the strength of a signal with which ue ( mobile )
receive . it is measured in -dbm.
RSRP Ranges
Q10 :- RSRQ stand for ? and what are the ranges of RSRP.
Q11:- SINR stand for ? and what are the ranges of SINR.
5
Q13:- what is the procedure of 4G SSV or What Testing we are performing in 4G SSV.
5. Attach/detach
8. Blind Re-direction/IRAT
1. Intra frequency to intra enode B handover: - if we perform fdd 2100 testing, handover within same
cell. From sector A fdd 2100 to another sector B fdd 2100 this handover is called intra frequency to intra
enode B handover.
2.Intra frequency to inter enode b handover. If we perform fdd 2100 testing handover from one site fdd
2100 frequecy to the neighbor site fdd 2100 frequency.
3.Inter frequency to intra enode b handover: - in this type of technology within same cell handover from
one frequency to another frequency. From fdd 1800 t0 FDD 2100.
6
4.Inter frequency to inter enode b. In this type, handover from one site fdd 1800 to another site
another frequency FDD 2100. This type of handover is called inter frequency to inter enode b.
