1.0.BUSINESS DESCRIPTION

The proposed business Baraka hotel will be a sole proprietorship. The name Baraka stands for the
owner’s name. Out of her passion for the business which will offer services like supplying all kinds of
food and drinks such as ugali, chapatti, delmonte etc

1.1. THE PURPOSE

Baraka hotel, the first name stands for fathers name .I choose this name because many people are
familiar with the name. This can make customers easily for identifying the type of food I offer in my
hotel.

THE SPONSOR

The owner of the business is a female of aged 20years born in Busia County.She joined her primary
school in the year 2005 and sat for Kenya certificate of primary education and passed with average
marks which enabled her to join St Marys Amukura girls high school and came with good results
which enabled her to join sangalo institute of science and technology and undertake a course in
certificate in secretarial studies.

BUSINESS LOCATION

Baraka hotel is located near Busia main road around Hamisi hardware and between Kutor academy
and pare chemist.

The very close customer that I target are colleges, secondary students and all people around

The business expects to serve all people around and those not around .The customers will prefer my
services as compared to others basing on the way I will be treating them and the affordable prices I
will offer.

The business will be competing with other small businesses like the maji maji hotel and others
around.

Methods of promotion

For the business to be popular I will use advertisement method to get more customers
