TINY HOUSE DESIGN BRIFE:

Clients need: (House name Mountain life) – David wants to Live in a quite
mountain in China, Guilin, Qingshan. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city and look at the
quiet scenery in the mountains beside the river and the starry sky. Release his stress while live in a
small mountain house, feel the energy from the nature. A quiet atmosphere will enable him to
study and work effectively. The house can be built in wooden material, there should be at least 180
degrees of floor-to-ceiling glass, and the house should face south so that it can bathe in sunlight
during the daytime, the house can’t be big otherwise, he will feel unsafe when living. The house
needs a bathroom, kitchen and living room with beds.
Design/style:
 The style of the house should be clean, preferably decorated with light colored wood.
 The house should mostly build with nature materials.
 The house should use light and warm colors.
Physical & functional requirements:
 Small space.
 Must have bathroom: must include toilet, sink, mirror, shower and storage Shelf
 The foundation should be stable.
 The house should build with stable materials.
 The house should use solar panel for electricity system.
 The house must include a kitchen include sink, lockers, stovetop and a hidden fridge Lockers,
as well as a range hood.
 The bed appears in the form of tatami.
 Must include a study desk.
 Must include Wi-Fi.
 Must include an air conditioner, because in China mountain the atmosphere and the air in the
mountains is relatively wet so air conditioner can make the air drier and comfortable.
Purpose:
 To Live in a quite mountain in China, Guilin, Qingshan. Away from the hustle and bustle of
the city and look at the quiet scenery in the mountains beside the river and the starry sky.

Constraints:
 Because the house will be built in Mountain, so it can’t be too big, so the house’s design size
will be 4.5-5 meters high, 6-7 meters width and 5-6 meters length. Which will limit some
function and placing of furniture.

The final concept of the house design will be presented to the client in the form of a folio
containing many drawings and models:
 Floor plan (digital and print out)
 Isometric drawing (hand drawing)
 2-point perspective drawings (hand drawing)
 3D Models (maybe/hand made/pictures)
