I. OBJECTIVES At the end of the period, the learners are able to:
1. Know the functions of Gerund
2. Arrange the sentences accordingly with gerund word.
3. Create Sentences using Gerunds

A. Content Standard The learner demonstrates understanding of how Anglo-American literature and
other text types serve as means of connecting to the world; also how to use
ways of analysing one-act play and different forms of verbals for him/her to
skilfully perform in a one-act play.
B. Performance Standard The learner skilfully performs in one-act play through utilizing effective verbal
and non-verbal strategies and ICT resources based on the following criteria:
Focus, Voice, Delivery, and Dramatic Conventions.

PART III. PROCEDURE
These steps should be done across the week. Spread out the Activities
appropriately so that students will learn well.
Always be guided by demonstration of learning by the students which you can
infer from formative assessment activities. Sustain learning systematically by
providing students with multiple ways to learn new things, practice their
learning processes and draw conclusions about what they learned in relation to
their life and Previous knowledge. Indicate the time allotment for each step.

GENERAL INSTRUCTION FOR GROUP ACTIVITIES:


 The teacher will group the class into three (3) groups.
 She will play a song which is related to the topic.
 Whenever the music stops, students must provide an answer to the
question of their teacher.

2. Let them Identify the correct placement of gerund words/ gerund
phrase.
3. 1st group who can get the answers will have 50 points
4. 2nd 30pts
5. 3rd 25pts.
