    Mini project report guideline


     Your mini project report shall follow the similar criteria for final year project report. It
    wills greatly train and preparing for your next year FYP as well as for design project
    course later. Therefore, do not complaint.

     Minimum page for your report should be 15 pages.

     One group must submit ONE report only.

     5 main chapter:
    1. Introduction
    2. Literature Review
    3. Methodology
    4. Results & Discussion
    5. Conclusion

     You could have a few subchapters in the main chapter, for example:
    1.0 Introduction
    1.1 Background
    1.2 Problem Statement
    1.3 Aim and Objective
    1.3.1 Aim
    1.3.2 Objectives

     Among the important items in your report are:


    o task distribution of each member in the group
    o work organization
    o machine vision systems components
    o flow chart
    o setting of image acquisition
    o image of several samples
    o image processing algorithm
    o result of image processing
    o classification algorithm (if any)
    o discussion of the resulting image
    o conclusion of what has been observed
