    OTC Allergy Medicines

    Antihistamines
    ❏ Claritin (Loratadine): 5mg/ml, 5mg chewables, 10mg reditabs
    ❏ 2-5 years: 1 teaspoon (5mg) daily
    ❏ 6 years +: 2 teaspoons (10 mg) daily

    ❏ Zyrtec (Cetirizine): 5mg/ml or 5mg and 10mg tablets


    ❏ 6-23 months: ½ teaspoon (2.5mg) daily
    ❏ 2-5 years: 1 teaspoon (5mg) daily
    ❏ 6 years +: 2 teaspoons (10mg) daily

    ❏ Allegra (Fexofenadine): 30mg/5ml and 30 mg meltable tablets


    ❏ 2-11 years: 1 teaspoon (30 mg) AM and PM
    ❏ 12 years +: 60 mg AM and PM or 180 mg daily

    Eye Drops
    ❏ Zaditor/Alaway/Zyrtec ( Ketotifen)
    ❏ 3 years +: 1 drop to each eye AM and PM

    ❏ Naphcon-A (Naphazoline and Pheniramine)


    ❏ 6 years +: 1-2 drops 4 times a day for one week

    Nasal Sprays
    ❏ Flonase (Fluticasone)
    ❏ 4-11 years: 1 spray each nostril daily
    ❏ 12 years +: 2 sprays each nostril daily

    ❏ Nasacort (Triamcinolone acetonide)


    ❏ 2-6 years: 1 spray each nostril daily
    ❏ 6-12 years: 1-2 sprays each nostril daily
    ❏ 12 years +: 2 sprays each nostril daily

    1teaspoon=5ml
