Ethics

One example of scenarios which highlight that a good rational moral decision is not always executed is
when we are hinted to tell the truth when one of our close someone is involved in the truth. If someone
you know has been involved in a crime and the police is searching for him. Most of the times, we tend to
prioritize our emotions and try to protect our loved ones. We will try to cover up for that person and we
will never tell to the police what we know.

Another example is when we see someone who needs help. Most of the times we choose to ignore
those people who needs help even if they are already in front of us. We tend to prioritize our “hiya”
because people who might see us helping others might make fun of us because that is how the world
works now. Helping is like a funny thing that is people see someone helping others, they may find it
laughable. Under the same circumstance is the helping but trying to show it off. Others use helping to
earn money by taking videos and uploading it to social media platforms.
