The Digid 2000 is Agfa’s innovative
ID camera enabling you to print
patient data digitally. It is compatible
with all types of 15 mm cassettes
with standard European or US
windows.
Increased speed and less mistakes
Patient information on ID cards now
definitely belongs to the past. Via the
integrated keyboard, patient data can
be entered directly into the
Digid 2000. On the other hand,
patient data can be transmitted to the
Digid 2000 via a Hospital Information
System (HIS) or a Radiology
Information System (RIS).
Either method, via keyboard or
network, will optimise your radiology
department’s workflow considerably
because paper IDs are eliminated.
Apart from fast information
transmission, an HIS/RIS integration
will also bring the advantage that
fewer mistakes will occur in patient
IDs.
Customisable
The use of customisable patient and
operator ID lists as well as
configurable customer label fields
make it possible to define labels that
perfectly match your requirements.
High-performance digitisation
The Digid 2000 can store over
100 patient IDs locally, which makes it
possible to retrieve, adjust and print
patient data in a split second.
The LED chip and the optic exposure
principle will guarantee premium
identification
print quality on X-rays. Even after
copying or digitisation, patient data
remain clearly legible.
Integration of the Digid 2000
The Digid 2000 can either be used as a
stand-alone unit or as an integrated
unit in a local HIS/RIS system. The
latter is possible through the RS232
interface and a standard
communication protocol.
In the future, the integration of the
Digid 2000 into system environments
will still become easier thanks to the
HIS/RIS Link Toolkit.
