A Tragedy on Halloween Party at Itaewon City South Korea
The tragedy that befell Itaewon at least claimed many victims as far 156 people died and
the remaining 157 were injured.

Few weeks heretofore precise on October 29, 2022 there existed a lot of highlights from
mechanisms regarding an incident that happened to an annual event festival in each area of a
nation; Halloween, which is South Korea. Event is announced to have begun when the sun was
dimming down from above the mists. Highly enthusiasm of the dwellers for the festivity which is
held once a year after the starvation of the covid 19 pandemic, carving this year planned as the
first year after distance of celebrate Halloween indoors without existing permitted take out to
greet each further around.

The act actually wreaked havoc and was called a terrible tragedy after the sinking of the
Sewol ship at the time, all mass media stopped operating and all events who held by Kpop artist
were canceled due to the mourning situation. Sea of people crammed the entire surface of the
Itaewon slight alley behind the Hamiltan Hotel, it is meant that the incident who killed hundreds
people due to lack of oxygen and respiratory attacks was caused by, “Crowd Management,” as
the Prime Minister of South Korea, Han Deok-Soo said during a press conference for foreign
correspondent held at the Korean Press Center in Jung-Gu, Seoul on November 01, 2022. Then
the president of South Korea, Yoon Seok-Yeol moreover announced at a cabinet conference on
the same day, “The Itaewon disaster clearly shows the importance of crowd control, which is
called ‘Crowd Management.”

This reason can clearly be an explanation of why Halloween 2022 is being held in
Itaewon, not in Seoul, Busan, Daegu or others where in fact these places are extra outstanding
than Itaewon, but the fact is Itaewon has slight alleys which is filled with freeway vendors -can
similarly be reached a midst where extensive nourishment found there. In addition, other
consenting factors that can strengthen the general public`s perspective consistency of people at
that time, including being inhabited by many international citizens, known as multicultural and
diverse culture, can similarly be caused due to several factors of human error, negligence of the
police in estimating the threat that occurred because it wasn’t in accordance with the prevailing
expectations.
