Vedansh Group of Hospitals

A leading Integrated Group of Healthcare Providers Consisting of 3 Hospitals, 2 Day Care Centers and 2
Poly Clinics spread out in Dadri and Greater Noida region for better reach in all the areas of Greater
Noida and Dadri. We are working on Hub and Spoke Model where our Hub I.e Surya Hospital is being fed
by the spokes, so to Increase the IPD at Hub we need to work on the OPDs in the Spokes I.e Day Care
Centers and Poly clinics.

To increase the OPD we need to put more marketing efforts in our polyclinics, start vendor engagement
with the Referral Vendors, Adding more innovative avenues of patient acquisition through E-Mitras,
CSC/ASHAs/Pharmacy Practitioners, Conversion.

Marketing Strategy
Different Setups will have some common elements like group wise schemes (which are applicable to all
the group units) and different Marketing elements in the marketing mix which will be as per the Services
Offered in the set up(Multi Specialty/Single Specialty/Clinic), Costumer Profile (Rural or Urban Divide).

Reach Out
Referral Marketing: Referral Marketing will be the main stay of marketing department currently till
we develop the other Marketing Verticals, Referral Marketing includes the referral businesses from
Smaller Hospitals, Practicing GPs, RMPs, Practicing Pharmacists, Asha Workers, Local KOL(Key Opinion
Leaders) like Sarpanchs, E-Mitra (Ayushman Seva Kendra).

As per the Marketing reports which I have seen the team needs to start the referrals with Pharmacies,
ASHA Workers, Sub Center PHC/CHC also they need to start getting Diagnostics Referrals from the
Doctors/GPs/RMPs practicing to the nearby Hospitals including the Day Care and Clinics.

Digital Marketing : All our Daycare Centers/Mediclinic's are located at the Urban Societies where
people are very well connected through online mediums like Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp etc.
These mediums can be used for both Paid (Boost, Lead Generation Ads, Google Ads) and Unpaid
Marketing to promote the Services and Campaigns we are offering in our centers.
Digital Marketing will also be done extensively for all our 3 Hospital setups, Digital Campaigns like
“Know your Doctor”, Video Patient Testimonials, “Doctor Talk” Videos, “Disease Prevention” Videos,
“Hospital Experience” Videos, Reels/Shorts on the same topics.

Social Marketing: All Hospital Employees will be engaged through Monthly Competition and prizes
for promoting the Hospital Pages/Social Posts with their Villages/Societies etc.

Google/Facebook Feedbacks : Compulsory Google/Facebook Review for Ayushman/Camp


Patients before the Discharge, and A5 size PVC Tent Cards with Google/Facebook QR Code at the Billing
and Nursing Stations for taking Regular Feedback.

Whatsapp/SMS Blast: Regular/Weekly message blast to the past patients/Camp patients etc
about various Medical Services/Offers and Upcoming Camp in the area. The message blast will have
different content for different centers and also the recipient pools will also be different.

NewsPaper and Digital Media: Increase engagement with the Local Media(Both Print and
Digital) for Publishing Positive Stories about the Hospital Group in return for Occasional Advertisments
in the Publications.

NewsPaper Leaflet Insertion: A4-A5 size leaflets can be inserted in the NewsPapers through
Local Hawkers to Increase the general Awareness of our services and for announcing any special
package or services. This method can specially used for promotion of Medical Clinics.

Loud -Speaker Announcements: Loud speaker Announcements are a very effective and
affordable way to Increase awareness and market services. More E-Rickshaws need to be engaged for
the Marketing of other centers also.

FM Radio: Local FM Radio can also be used to create initial buzz about the Hospital Group,
announcing new schemes like ANC or Jachha Bachha Package.

Corporate Tie Ups: Greater Noida Region has Thousands of Corporates which require quarterly
Medical Camps for their Audits, Schools/Colleges.
Medical Camps: Daily Camps(Vital, First Aid Or Medical Camp) in Villages, Corporates,
Schools/Colleges/Malls and Fairs other related Places to Increase the Brand Awareness and Foot Fall in
our Centers, the Camp patients will be provided some Information material along with their Free Test
Results and Prescriptions and we will get the data of the sick patients and hence Footfalls and IPDs.

Community Connect: First Aids Trainings for School/College Teachers, Police Department, Auto
Rickshaw Unions will not only increase the interaction of community with the Hospital but will also
increase the footfalls through the Trainees.

Referral Vendor/Patient Engagement:


CMEs/Training/Get Together: Monthly CMEs for Consultants/GPs, RMPs ANM/ASHA in our
target geographies like Dadri, Bulandshar, Khurja, tappal, Jattari, Aligarh etc. Similar First Aid
Training/Get together for Ambulance Drivers.

Camps in Partner Clinic/Hospital: Weekly Camps by Consultants in partner Hospitals in nearby


towns to Increase the Brand value, OPD and IPD of the Hospital. This initiatives will be started with the
already existing small Hospitals/Clinics from our Nearby Towns, The Field Marketing team will nominate
the small Hospitals and Clinics where these camps will have to be Organized.

Corporate Gifts: Gifts like Hospital Branded Wall Clocks/Table Organizers for RMPs, Sub
Center/ANMs, Hand Bags for ASHA Workers, Water Bottles/Bag for Ambulance Drivers at upcoming
Festivals.

Dairy and Calendar Distribution: Dairy and Calendar Distribution before New Year, Dairy to
Corporate HRs, RWA/Society Managers,

Patient’s Engagement:
Potted Plants: Gifting of Potted Plants in Hospital Branded Pot to the Mothers of Newly Born Child
and serious patients who got discharged from the Hospital will improve the Patient Loyalty and Brand
Awareness of the Hospital.
Loyalty Discount Cards: Different grades(Like Silver, Gold and Diamond) of Loyalty Cards can be
given to For Corporate HRs/RWA-Society Managers, School Principal-Teachers/ Sarpanch/Parshads and
Other KOLs and Corporate Employees so that Preferred Services and Discounts can be availed at any
Group Hospital or Center/ Pharmacy.

Branding Campaigns:
Center Branding: Branding like Pole Branding, Loud Speaker, Hoardings near the Hospitals/Day
Care Centers need to be Increased in general to create awareness about the centers and its services.

Pharmacy/Medical Stores Branding: A3/A2 size Ayushman Bharat Co-branded Sticking


Posters with all our Medical Specialties and Services in Pharmacies of our Target Geographies like
Greater Noida, Dadri, Sikandrabad, Bulandshar, Khurja, Aligarh.

Pharmacy/Medical Stores Board Co-Branding: Co-Branding of Pharmacy Boards with our


Hospital Information and the name of the Pharmacy. This can be done near our Hospital Centers to
Increase the Brand Recognition of our Center.

Printed Pharmacy Envelopes for Pharmacies : To Increase the OPD Number we can give
Printed/Branded Pharmacy Envelopes to the Pharmacies for giving medicines. The Envelopes will
contain the services and Information/QR Code to book appointment and make online payments for the
OPD.

CSC Branding: A3/A2 size Ayushman Bharat Co-branded Sticking Posters with all our Medical
Specialities and Services in CSC(Common Service Center) of our Target Geographies like Greater Noida,
Dadri, Sikandrabad, Bulandshar, Khurja till Aligarh to grab the Ayushman Card Holders at the Source.

Residential Societies: First Aid Box Installation in the Residential Societies (Main Gate,
Maintenance Office, Lift Lobby etc) with the commitment for bi-yearly refill, with the Visible Branding
and Information to book appointments to Increase the Footfall in the Hospital.

Canopy Marketing: Weekly Free Vitals(BMI, BP, RBS, Pulse) cum Information Camps where a Nurse
and Marketing Executive will put Canopy in the nearby mall or busy Market, it will help us in creating
brand awareness for our Hospital among the Urban Crowd and also help us in getting the Data of
Diabetes /HT/Cardiac Patients for OPD Promotion, Home Delivery of Medicines.

Same Canopy Marketing will be done for our Medical Clinics and NIMMS Haldoni setup also in the
nearby Markets and societies.

Auto Rickshaw Branding : Branding Opportunity with Hospitals Information with Auto Rickshaws
and E- rickshahws will Increase the brand presence and recognition which will help building the Trust
and hence footfalls.

New Offers and Campaigns:


ANC: to Increase the Deliveries and other IPDs we need to design Ante Natal Care Package at 40%
Discounts ANC can contain: 3-4 USG, 3 CBCs, RBS, HHH, etc spread over 8-9 months of pregnancy,

Jachha Bachha Package: Jachha Bachha Package will contain ANC Package and Normal Delivery,
the package will be designed at 30-40% discount from open billing, the package will help increase the
Deliveries inside the Hospital, which will not only increase the overall revenue for the hospital but also
increase the NICU Admissions for the Hospitals.

Inhouse Marketing:
Cross selling and Upselling: Giving offer of free Home Delivery of Medicines to the OPD Patients,
selling Jachha Bachha Package to the pregnant patients who have undergone USG in our center will
come under cross selling.

Patient Conversions: Converting the OPD patients which require IPD but are not getting admitted
due to any factor, We need to appoint a counsellor(or assign a this duty to a responsible employee who
can counsel the patient and take decision on the spot) who will take the data of patients who require
IPD but didn’t got admitted from the Consultant and follow up with the patient to get him/her admitted
ASAP.
Medi-Clinics and Pharmacy: For Increasing the Footfall for OPD in Medi-clinics we need to do Extensive
Marketing(Online and Offline, Paid and Unpaid) of Discounted Medicines along with Free Medicine
Home Delivery in the vicinity (5Kms from the Pharmacy)
