2.8.3 INDEX TEMPERATURE

The Index Arch Temperature Controller has a protection switch. Its preset value is a trigger value
for alarm. When the index arch temperature overheats, it will stop the machine and sound the
alarm.

2.8.4 ADD(+)
This is an indicative button switch. Normally this switch will keep OFF when this is yellow. This
switch will turn green when pressed, and that means that the all SV values which exclude index
arch form the values will add a set value and transfer to the thermometer.

2.8.5 SUB(-)
This is an indicative button switch. Normally this switch will keep OFF when this is yellow. This
switch will turn green when pressed, and that means that the all SV values which exclude index
arch form the values will subtract a set value and transfer to the thermometer.

2.8.6 FOLLOWED

miss match counter mode from the trim counter modes.

2.9.6 MISS MATCH DEVIATION

This setup value can be used when you choose the miss match counter mode. That means the index
distance will add or subtract the miss match distance when the PV value comes up to the SV value
of the miss match counter. Refer to 2.9.5.3.

2.9.7.2 PV
This value can show the actual counter of grease setting.

2.9.8 INDEX SETTING

2.9.8.1 Index angle
After ON, the setup value of the index angle is for adjusting the time to index start.

2.9.9 IDLER SETTING

2.9.9.1 Idler angle
After ON, the setup value of the idler angle is for adjusting the time to idler start. After OFF,
the other setup value of the idler angle is for adjusting the time to idler stop.

2.9.10 ANGLE SETTING

We suggested that the ON state is 190 degrees to 220 degrees of the eject angle, the ON state is
220 degrees to 345 degrees of the index angle, and the ON state is 185 degrees and the OFF state is
120 degrees of the idler angle.
PS:The trip of trimmer is 240 mm, we can well adjust the ON state angle of index
according to the depth of the shaping products.

2.9.11 USE MACHINES AUTO MODE DISABLE \ ENABLE
2.9.11.1 DISABLE
Disable Trimmer Auto mode.

2.9.11.2 ENABLE
Enable Trimmer Auto mode。Thread the sheet to canopy, when photoelectric sensor detects
the sheet, the idler will press the sheet and lead it to trimmer for cutting. When the sheet gets
to trimmer, the trimmer will start trimming automatically.

2.9.12 USE AUTO IDLER MODE DISABLE \ ENABLE

2.9.12.1 DISABLE
Disable Idler Auto mode.

2.9.12.2 ENABLE
Enable Idler Auto mode. It means the action of idler will running automatically accord with
the idler setting angle.

2.9.13 NO SHEET DETECTION DISABLE \ ENABLE

This is an indicative button switch. It will turn black when pressed, and that means using no sheet
patrol. Refer to 2.9.2. It will shut down the machine immediately when the PV value comes up to
the SV value of no sheet counter.

2.10.1 INDEX SETTING

2.10.1.1 Index Distance
This display value about adjusting to the length of material fed in every cycle of trimming.

2.10.1.2 Max Distance (A Platen Distance)

This setup value can modify the length of the maximum distance or a platen distance.
(Unit: mm).

2.10.1.3 Offset Distance (Jump Platen Distance)

This setup value can modify the length of the offset distance or jump platen distance. (Unit:

mm).

2.10.1.4 Index Velocity

This setup value can modify the speed of index.

2.10.1.5 Index Jog Velocity

This setup value can adjust the speed of index by the discontinuous movement of index.

~ 33 ~
2.10.1.6 Index Acc/Dec Time
This setup value can modify the speeding up time for index.

2.10.2 PHOTO TRIGGER ( PITCH COUNTER )

This is an indicative button switch. It will allow you choosing one mode from the photo
trigger mode or the pitch counter mode.

In the photo trigger mode the index distance will use the maximum distance and the offset
distance.
When photo trigger in ON state, the index distance used the offset distance and then the
trimmer trimmed one time. If photo trigger is never in ON state, the index distance used
the maximum distance and then the trimmer trimmed one time.
In the pitch counter mode the index distance will use a platen distance and the jump platen
distance.

~ 34 ~
The index distance usually used a platen distance and then the trimmer trimmed one time.
When the actual value of pitch counter is equal to the setup value of pitch counter, the
index distance used the jump platen distance one time and then the trimmer trimmed one
time.

2.10.3 SYNCHRONOUS FORMER

This is an indicative button switch. It will turn red when pressed, and that means the trimmer
velocity will follow the former velocity. The trimmer velocity is equal to the former velocity
multiplied by the setup value of pitch counter.

2.10.4 PACE (CHASE):

This is an indicative button switch. It will allow you choosing one mode from the pace mode
or the chase mode.

In the pace mode the trim velocity will subtract the trim deviation velocity, when the times of the
photo trigger in ON state are more two or more times than the times of the photo trigger in OFF
state. At the moment, if the times of the photo trigger in OFF state are more two or more times
than the times of the photo trigger in ON state, the trim velocity will originally get back to the
setup value.

In the chase mode the trim velocity will add 1cpm or subtract 1.5cpm every time, when the actual
value of pitch counter is equal to the setup value of pitch counter. The trim velocity will add 1cpm,
when the times of the photo trigger in OFF state are more two or more times than the times of the
photo trigger in ON state, until the trim velocity is equal to the trim velocity add the trim deviation
velocity. At the moment, if the times of the photo trigger in ON state are more two or more times
than the times of the photo trigger in OFF state, the trim velocity will originally get back to the
setup value. In other words, the trim velocity will subtract 1.5cpm, when the times of the photo
trigger in ON state are more two or more times than the times of the photo trigger in OFF state,
until the trim velocity is equal to the trim velocity subtract the trim deviation velocity. At the
moment, if the times of the photo trigger in OFF state are more two or more times than the times of
the photo trigger in ON state, the trim velocity will originally get back to the setup value gradually.

motor.

When canopy photo start sensor senses no sheet, the travel distance: canopy motor = feeding

motor + offset value.
