Purposive communication

1. Super Private Limited purchased goods from them, and instead of 5,000 units, they
received 50,000 units. Later, they decided to return 45,000 units with a total cost of 4.5
million. However, their company records show that they sold goods worth 4.5 million.
What if they adjust the sale?

The consequence when they adjust the sale is that their quarterly bonus might
decrease, and in the worst-case, David might resign. The Sales Director and employees
would have been happy because if the profit is higher, they would receive larger
bonuses.

In conclusion, David should prioritize ethical and transparent financial reporting, engage
in open communication, and consider seeking expert advice to address the opposition’s
concerns. It’s essential to maintain the integrity of the company’s financial statements
while also addressing any valid concerns from within the organization.

2. The problem in this situation is Boundary Crossings. Ms. K, while providing extra help
and support, appears to have crossed professional boundaries by using her personal
email and text messaging for non-academic, personal discussions with Melissa.
Discussing a student’s personal feelings and issues over personal channels can
potentially breach Melissa’s privacy and confidentiality.

In this case, ethical concerns revolve around maintaining appropriate boundaries,

respecting privacy, and ensuring the well-being of the student. Teachers should be
cautious about crossing into the personal realm and prioritize the educational aspects of
their relationships with students.

In conclusion, I think it’s a matter between the teacher and the student. If a teacher feels
comfortable and genuinely wants to provide support and comfort to a student, it’s not
wrong to express appreciation. School can be considered a second home, and teachers
are like second parents. It’s not a problem when both parties are content and not
distracted.
