     Pera Palace Hotel was opened in 1895.
    This hotel is in Istanbul Beyoğlu.
     It was the building where electricity was
    supplied, the first electric elevator and the
    first running hot water in Istanbul.
    IMPORTANT PEOPLE
     Important people stayed in this hotel.
    These are Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and
    Agatha Christie.
    MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK
     Pera Palace Hotel hosted Atatürk many
    times. Atatürk mostly stayed in room 101.
    This room is exhibited as a museum today.
     AGATHA CHRİSTİE
    Agatha Christie stayed at Pera Palace
    many times during her travels to Istanbul
    between 1926 and 1932. His preferred
    room 411 is preserved as a museum today.
     The hotel restaurant is named after Agatha
    Christie.
