Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol was a successful magazine and ad illustrator who

became a leading artist of the 1960s Pop art movements. He
ventured into a wide variety of art forms, including
performance art, filmmaking, video installations and writing,
and controversially blurred the lines between fine art and
mainstream aesthetics.

When making art, he used a technique where he printed the

same exact picture many times and coloured each picture
differently with different colours. He died on February 22,
1987 Hospital, New York, United States. born August 6, 1928
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United Stated.

Andy Warhol is famous for stealing other people's
photographs, making screen-prints of them, and selling his
prints for a lot more than the original photographer ever got
for the original photo.
