Presentation:

1. Your assignments should be submitted as .doc or .docx files, and should be emailed
directly to me (nchristie@langara.ca) by the listed deadline. Note that I will not accept
work that is submitted in a file format other than those listed above (so do not, for
example, send me a .pdf file). Work submitted in the wrong format will be considered
to have not been submitted at all.
2. Your work should be in English, in a 12-point, Times New Roman or equivalent-sized
font.
3. Text should be double-spaced, with a 1-inch margin all around.
4. Pages should be numbered consecutively. The first page should begin with the
assignment title,

your name, your student number (do not forget your name and number!) and the due
date.

5. Assignments 2, 3 and 4 should include both citations of your sources (as footnotes) and
a

bibliography, both created in Chicago format using the “notes and bibliography” system.
Note that if you do not include both of these, you will automatically receive a failing
grade in the assignment! Information on these, as well as further guidelines on essay

citations count towards your word limit, but your bibliography does not.
