Menu: Chicken Curry

Ingredients needed:

 ½ kg Chicken cut into serving pieces


 2-3 tablespoon Curry Powder
 1 piece Potato, diced
 1 pc Carrot, diced
 1 piece Red bell pepper, sliced
 1-2 red Chili/Labuyo optional
 1 piece Onion, chopped
 3 cloves Garlic, minced
 2 thumbs Ginger cut into strips
 2 cups Coconut milk
 ½ cup water
 Fish sauce and ground black pepper to taste
 Cooking oil

Procedure:

Start by frying the Potato and Carrot.


Put oil in cooking pan, pot or wok. Sauté the Onion, Garlic, Ginger and Black Pepper wait until the
aromatics are small good then put the chicken until outer layer turns light brown. Add the Curry powder.
The needs to be tenderized at the point. Pour the water into the pot and let it boil, add the Coconut milk
and red Chili (optional). Cook the chicken between low to medium heat until tender. Make sure that the
cooking pot is covered to trap the steam. Once the chicken is tender, add the fried potato and other
vegetable let it boil for few minutes. Adjust the taste by adding Fish sauce.
