Okay everybody, sit down now.

Who are absent this morning? Kyen, teacher!
Do you know why Kyen is absent? No, teacher!
Ah okay, maybe I’ll just ask his parents about
that.
Now, kids! What can you say about this
picture? There are kids and a teacher.

Okay, very good.

How about the way they sit, what can you say
about it? They are sitting properly, teacher.

Very good! So our first classroom is sit down

properly. What’s our classroom’s first rule
again? 1. Sit down properly.
Now, look at these children, are they talking
to each other? No!
Yes! So, meaning to say, our second and last
classroom rule is, do not talk to your
seatmate. What’s our second rule again? 2. Do not talk to your seatmate.
Okay, very good!
So, to start our class, let’s sing our good
morning song. But before that, what is the
weather for today?
Okay, very good! Sunny day, teacher.
Today is a sunny day, and the song goes this
way…
Everybody, stand up!
Let’s sing the good morning song. [Children rises]

Good morning 2x, how are you today?

Turn around, and turn around!

Did you like the song kids?

Now, let’s do the inhale and exhale exercise. Yes, teacher!
Inhale…
Exhale… [Children are breathing in]
Give yourself, kids, a hearty applause for a [Kids are breathing out]
job well done

Now everybody, sit down. [The kids are clapping their hands]

B. Motivation: [They are sitting properly]

weather. Raise your hand if you have a
favorite weather!
Okay, let's hear from Jake. [Kids raise their hands]
I like sunny weather because I can play
outside!
C. Discussion:
Great! Let’s start by looking at some pictures
of different weathers in the Philippines.
This is a sunny day. What do you see in this
picture?
That’s right! On a sunny day, the sun is out, The sun is shining brightly!
and it feels warm.

Now, what do you see in this picture,

Matthew?
Perfect! On a rainy day, it rains a lot, and we I see raindrops falling and people carrying
need to keep ourselves dry with umbrellas umbrellas.
and raincoats.

And what about this picture?

Yes! On a cloudy day, the sky is not as sunny, The sky is covered with clouds!
and it might feel a bit colder.

Lastly, what can you tell me about this

picture?

fast, and we might need to wear jackets or flying! It’s windy!
hold onto our hats.

Now that we’ve seen some pictures, let’s

learn why it’s important to know about these
different types of weather.
Who can tell me why we need to dress
appropriately for the weather?
Exactly! When we dress appropriately, we
feel comfortable, and we can avoid getting
sick. It keeps us comfortable and protected,
teacher!
For example, wearing a jacket on a windy day
keeps us warm, just like wearing a raincoat
on a rainy day keeps us dry.

Stand up, children, let’s sing a song about the

different types of weather and we’ll have a
little activity!

The song goes like this… [Children stands up]

Today is a rainy, a rainy day

Today is a cloudy, a cloudy day
It's a cloudy, cloudy, cloudy day [Children are singing]
Today is a windy, a windy day
It's a windy, windy, windy day
Today is a stormy, a stormy day

Very good! Sit down, kids. Now, let’s have a

little activity to test our knowledge.
I have some flashcards with different weather
scenarios.
I will show you a flashcard, and you need to [Children sits down]
tell me what clothing we should wear. Are
you ready?

Okay, let's start.

Yes, teacher!
What clothing should we wear on a sunny
day?
Great Job!

We should wear a hat and sunglasses!

And what about on a rainy day?

Excellent! You’re all doing fantastic!

We should wear a raincoat and carry an
D. Generalization: umbrella!
Now that we've learned about different
weather types and appropriate clothing, let's
remember that dressing appropriately helps
us stay comfortable and healthy.
Can anyone give me an example of when
they need to wear a specific type of clothing?
Yes, Matthew?
That's right! It's important to dress for the
weather, just like wearing a jacket on a windy
