New ARBO Formation Trainings (Malingin Association)

I. Background and Rationale

The province of Camiguin has a target of 1 newly formed ARBO for 2023, an ARBO was
identified and formed through close collaboration with the DOLE as it is in the process of
registration under the DOLE registered association. Thus, to strengthen the officers and
members alike, a series of trainings will be held for the purpose of organizing the arb
organization and coaching the newly elected officers on the duties, responsibilities, rights
and among other basic trainings that the group must be learned from.

The 4 types of training/Coaching and Mentoring will be done in series mode to increase
the interest of the ARBO officers and members on their newly form association. It must be
done that all members will know the basic duties and responsibilities, their VMGO,

Program annual work plan and budget, mentor them on start up capital build up and many
more. The basic organizing courses will also be given for them to get prepared on their
new roles in the organization.

To educate the officers and members on their organization vision, mission, goals and
objectives, mentor, coach and present the basic organizing skills and introduce the ARBO
as organization to be assisted by the different offices in the province.

III. Learning Objectives:

1. Conduct orientation on ARBO, present their VMGO

2. ARBO Profiling
3. Prepare Organizational Structure, process flow and officers roles and
responsibilities
4. Introduce savings and capital build up
5. Formation of COMAT and Business Planning Abaca Production and Fiber
