2.1.5 Express and respond to common feelings such as happiness,sadness,surprise, and
interest.
LEARNING By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
OBJECTIVES 1. Practise listening independently for at least 3 main ideas
2. List at least 3/5 correct answers from the text.
PRE LESSON:
1. Teacher asks pupils to guess what is wellbeing means?
2. Listen to their ideas as a class and make a list on the board.

LESSON DEVELOPMENT:
Activity A (WB Page 21)
1. Tell pupils to listen the audio and identify the key information in the text.
2. Teacher plays the audio then elicit their ideas.
3. Teacher tells the pupils that the teacher will play the text again and they
need to circle the correct answer while listening to the audio.
4. Play the audio again and repeat a third time if needed.
ACTIVITY
5. Get pupils to check their detailed information in pairs then elicit back with
whole class.
6. Play the text again so the pupils can check.

Activity B

1. Teacher tells the pupils to work in pair.

2. Pupils take turns to advice their partner to get a pet.
3. Pupils should give reasons why they should get a pet.
4. Pupils will need to read their answers.
5. Teacher corrects them t if there’s any mistakes.

POST-LESSON:

1. Teacher asks the pupils to share their view on today’s lesson. (Thumb up
and down)
