The document provides instructions for learning to draw a map of the world by starting simply. It recommends dividing a piece of paper into sections and drawing random objects in each section to connect them, such as an elephant, ice cream, and pebbles. It then has students redraw the map from memory without looking at the first attempt. Finally, it instructs students to add labels for continents, countries, bodies of water, and locations to develop their understanding of where places are globally. The overall goal is to learn to visualize the layout of the world through repeated practice of drawing maps from basic elements to more advanced versions over time.
