The musical Miss Saigon presents us with powerful ideas about culture and conflict,
history and tradition. It sensitively contrasts individual relationships with national
struggles for political control. It asks us to consider the nature of sacrifice and our capacity
for selfless love.
The emotion of Lea is priceless, her acting was phenomenal. This musical is
amazing, the voice and the story is great, you can see the emotions of the actors and
actress, I think it is about the Japanese period and a mother is hiding her son from the
soldiers and the commander or general saw her, and the general or commander will kill her
son, so she decided to kill him in order to save her son, you can see the sacrifice that he
made for her son. I wish that I could watch the whole musical in order to understand the
story about it, but from the 7-minute video, I can clearly see that I will be enjoying the show
if I watch it in real life. It will be amazing, because you can see in the video that they pour
their heart out into the acting, I remember watching Dr. Pio Valenzuela the musical in SM
Valenzuela, it was a great show, I think this musical would be greater, that is why I would
like to watch it in full.
Unlike so many other musicals, their work engages the heart and the mind, and this
is a beautifully structured tale told through the medium of music - the modern operatic
style of musical they have done so much to advance is the perfect medium for recounting a
tale of humanity and emotion.
