MEASURES (AMENDMENTS IN LEAVE ENCASHMENT / PENSION ETC.) OF
PUNJAB GOVERNMENT AGAINST GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES

In alignment with the decision of the All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) Central
Council, a comprehensive PEN-DOWN STRIKE, PROTEST & RALLY is scheduled for OCTOBER 05,
2023 (THURSDAY) in all South Punjab Government Offices and Institutions. This collective action
mirrors Central Punjab's efforts to address concerns stemming from recent Punjab Government policy
changes, such as amendments to Leave Encashment Rules, Pension Rules, and the failure to adjust
government employees' salaries in line with inflation. Under the leadership of Sardar Abdul Rauf Khan
Chandia, President of APCA South Punjab and Chairman of APCA District Muzaffar Garh, this
demonstration aims to highlight the hardships faced by Punjab government employees.

We earnestly urge all Divisional and District Presidents and General Secretaries to
take necessary steps to ensure the successful execution of the pen-down strike and protest in their
respective divisions and districts on OCTOBER 05, 2023. Your unwavering commitment is crucial, and
we believe that this united action can pave the way for resolving these pressing issues. Thank you for
your cooperation and tireless dedication in representing the interests of Punjab's government
employees. Together, we can strive for a fair and equitable resolution to these pressing concerns.
