Aperture we use F number

● F number: Number that will determine how open or closed our lens is.
● Correct naming: f/number

f/1, f/1.4, f/2, f/2.8, f/4, f/5.6, f/8, f/11, f/16, f/22, f/32, f/44, f/64
The more open the lens it is, the less things in focus we will have in our image.
The closer the lens it is, the more things we have in focus in our image.

Depth of field will represent how many things we have in focus

F number
● Wide depth of field with high f/ number
● Narrow depth of field with low f/number

MM of the lens we use

● The “longer” the lens we use, the less things in focus (narrower depth of field)
we have
● The “shorter” the lens we use (the less MMs), the more things in focus we will
have

Distance from the subject

● If we are close to the subject, the rest will be out of focus
● If we are far from the subject, the rest will be in focus

Background in focus:
● f/64
● Short lens
● Far

Background out of focus:

● f/4: Minimum f number we can
● Long lens
● Closest we can
Exposition

Well exposed: Correct amount of light in the photograph

Under exposed: Less amount of light than we needed
Over exposed: More amount of light than we needed
